This Privacy Policy explains how TrenchlessRepair.com ("we," "us"), operated by Wilde West LLC, collects, uses, shares, and protects information from visitors, homeowners requesting service, and contractor partners who list with us.
The one-sentence version: when you submit a repair request, we pass your name, contact details, property location, and what you told us about the problem to a licensed contractor in your area, so that they can contact you about the job. That is the entire purpose of this site. Everything below is the detail of how that works and how to stop it.
1. Information we collect
- From homeowners: name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, service area, timeline, and the details of your repair request, submitted through our quote and contact forms. If you choose to answer our optional follow-up questions, we also collect the job details you provide there — pipe material, approximate run length, cleanout access, number of bathrooms, whether a camera inspection has been done, the service you're interested in, and whether you're the homeowner, a landlord, a property manager, or an agent.
- Your consent record: when you check the consent box, we store the exact wording you were shown, a version identifier for that wording, the date and time, and the IP address the submission came from. We keep this so that we can show precisely what you agreed to, and when.
- From contractor partners: company name, contact name, business and mobile phone numbers, email, license number, website, service area, and logo, submitted through our provider onboarding form.
- Automatically: standard web analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser) via Google Analytics, plus the page you submitted from, the page you first landed on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags (UTM parameters) in the link you followed.
2. How we use it
- To connect homeowners with a licensed trenchless repair provider serving their area.
- To deliver service leads to the matched contractor partner by email and, where the partner has opted in, by SMS text.
- To contact you about the request you submitted.
- To operate contractor listings, billing, and account notifications.
- To improve our website and services.
3. What we share with service providers
This is the core of what we do, so we want it stated plainly rather than buried.
- What is shared: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code and service area, your timeline, the description of the problem you wrote, and any optional job details you provided.
- Who it goes to: one licensed contractor partner serving your area. Your request is routed exclusively — it is not blasted to several companies at once, and it is not sold onward to lead aggregators.
- When it can go to a second provider: if the first provider doesn't respond, is unable to take the job, or you ask us to find someone else, we may pass your request to another provider in your area. That is why our consent language says "one or more."
- Who they are: contractor partners are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Once your details reach them, their own privacy practices govern what they do with your information. We require them to use it only to respond to your request, but we do not control their systems.
- What we don't do: we do not post your information publicly, and we do not share it with anyone other than the matched provider and the vendors listed in section 6 who help us operate the site.
4. SMS / text messaging
Homeowners: by checking the consent box on the request form, you agree that the provider we match you with, and we, may contact you by phone call, text message, and email at the number and address you gave us — about the request you submitted. These are messages about your job, not marketing campaigns. Reply STOP to any text to opt out.
Contractor partners: you may opt in to receive SMS text messages by checking the SMS consent box and providing a mobile number on our onboarding form. We send only transactional messages — new-lead notifications and account/billing alerts related to your listing. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Frequency & rates: Message frequency varies based on lead activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out: Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time; reply HELP for assistance. You may also email admin@trenchlessrepair.com to be removed.
We never share or sell mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes, and we never include mobile opt-in data in any data transfer. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the messages described above — for homeowners, that means the contractor handling your request contacting you about that request, which is what you asked us to arrange.
5. Payment data
Contractor subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles card data under its own PCI-compliant security. Homeowners are never charged for submitting a request.
6. Vendors who process data for us
We use trusted vendors to operate the service — website hosting and data storage (Netlify), email delivery (Resend), SMS delivery (ClickSend), payment processing (Stripe), and analytics (Google Analytics). They may process your information only to provide those functions to us.
7. Data retention & security
We retain lead records, including the consent record described in section 1, for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations — and then delete or anonymize them. Consent records may be retained after a request is closed, because their purpose is to evidence what was agreed to. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your privacy rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and who we disclosed it to.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your information (see section 9).
- Opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP, and of analytics cookies through your browser settings.
9. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the rights to know, access, correct, delete, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We will not deny you service, charge a different price, or provide a lesser quality of service because you exercised a privacy right.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell lists of personal information, and we do not disclose your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do route your request to a contractor partner who pays us a subscription to receive requests in their territory — and because money is involved in that relationship, some interpretations of California law may treat that routing as a "sale" or "sharing."
You can opt out at any time by emailing admin@trenchlessrepair.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information."
Please understand what opting out means: routing your request to a contractor is the service. If you opt out, we cannot pass your request to a provider, and no one will contact you about your repair. If that is what you want, opting out is the right choice — but you may prefer to simply not submit a request, or to ask us to delete it.
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we will ask for proof of that authorization. To protect your information, we verify requests by matching the email address or phone number you submitted with us. We respond to requests within 45 days, and will tell you if we need a 45-day extension.
10. How to request deletion
Email admin@trenchlessrepair.com with the subject line "Delete My Information." Include the email address or phone number you used, and your lead ID if you have it — it appears in the confirmation email we sent you and looks like SD-2026-0001. That lets us find your record immediately.
We will delete your lead record and confirm when it is done, normally well within 45 days. Two limits worth knowing in advance:
- If your request was already routed to a contractor, we cannot delete their copy — they are an independent business with their own records. We will tell you which provider received it so you can contact them directly.
- We may retain the minimum records required for legal, tax, dispute-resolution, and consent-evidence purposes, as described in section 7.
11. Children
Our services are for adults arranging property repairs; we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
12. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest version. When we change the consent wording on our forms, previously collected consent records keep the wording that was actually shown at the time.
